Research & Development of Lithium-ion Batteries: 

There are many ways one can reduce the time and cost of making Lithium-ion batteries.

1. Recently, Dr. Yue Zhou, assistant professor at the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science in the USA stated that if we apply an electric field to the electrodes of the lithium-ion battery, that will accelerate the ions in the battery and lower the amount of energy for the activation of the ions.

2. We can also use Co(OH)2 in the electrode which will reduce the time taken for the charging of EVs. But all these methods are in the R&D phase. But we can with that some answers will be answered regarding this in upcoming future.
